Carnival Arcade Participation

As you guys know, GCS will he hosting a Carnival event this year. We plan to set up an arcade on the fourth floor of the Gates Center on Friday and Saturday (April 16 and 17). But to make this a success, we need help from everyone.

We will have everything set up from 12:00PM until 5:00PM on both days. If you can lend us a laptop to show games on for any amount of time on either day, please sign up to do so in this thread. We could also use any spare power strips or Xbox 360 controllers you would be willing to share.

We also need a handful of members to stay in the area at all times. We need people to help visitors with games, talk about GCS, and generally make sure nothing explodes. If you have a few hours to spare on either day, please let us know in this thread as well. It'll be fun and a great opportunity to show the public what GCS is all about. If you don't feel like staying inside all day, we need people to hand out fliers on midway as well.

I can be there from 12 to 5 on Friday - my laptop runs Windows XP and Linux, though I'd prefer to run something on Linux if possible.

I might be able to put in some time on Saturday too, but I don't want to commit to anything right now.

Crap, forgot this from a while back.

KGB's having their Defector's Party (old people) Sat at 1:30pm, so I'm actually not there from then on, likely. I can leave my laptop if desired - I'll just have to set up a guest user.
