Contest 11/9 - 11/30: MANDELBROT
by Wilson (Posted Fri Nov 30, 2012 6:48 pm)
I'm glad someone still uses this thing. Unfortunately, the game doesn't work for me - pygame complains about not being able to support 1200x800.
On another note, I really enjoyed what you did with the file structure. Zipping identically-named folders into themselves has always been one of my biggest pet peeves, but this was just masterful.

Contest 10/26 - 11/9: SHYAMALAN
by blanier (Posted Fri Nov 09, 2012 5:19 pm)
All of these are intended for use on mobile devices (excepting music, but that's whatever).
QR codes are usually useless but maybe here they will save you some typing.
Art
My entry is interactive in a sort of "create-your-own" way. I've made a couple things in it so I've actually done art rather than "my entry is whatever you make!" kind of thing.
http://ghc43.ghc.andrew.cmu.edu:13337/
Music:
http://www.contrib.andrew.cmu.edu/~blanier/qndr.mp3
Game:
Designed for smartphone! If you try to play it on your desktop it'll probably look wrong and actually won't even function. Also play it in Webkit (Android browser (tested, works!), Chrome for Android (tested, works!), iOS Safari (didn't test)) because I didn't put in the equivalent Gecko/Trident stuff in (aka don't use Firefox or IE mobile).
In fact I'm not even going to give a plain link here as an added inconvenience and incentive to use a smartphone.

Contest 10/26 - 11/9: SHYAMALAN
by Rosstin (Posted Fri Nov 09, 2012 2:58 pm)
I have an entry. It's a card game we can play in the testing phase.
INSTRUCTIONS
This is a 1v1 dueling card game. Both players start with 180hp and has a set of 4 cards that corresponds to a monster: STRONG, quick, buff, and couNTER. The card types are always the same, but the effects are slightly different depending on the monster the player has.
On each round, both players play a card from their hands simultaneously.
The first player who has 0hp or less at the end of a turn is the loser.
